Depending which platform you are using, you need to consider that you can’t post at the same time or you won’t have the result you are expecting. These are just guidelines and I found these stats with my experience, forums and Statistics.
But before you send your posts, you have to consider a few things.
Your location, and your followers location:
Where are you located and where is your audience. You can automate your posts especially twitter, where you can get a rotation of your tweets a few times a day, which is not the same for Facebook. You have to be aware of the timezone, and also for your Live video. If you have prospect in the UK, don’t post or do a live in the middle of the night for them, it might suit your US customers but not your European clients !
Who is your niche?
Also depending your niche, if you are targeting older people that are not working, you can post during the day. But if you target people working, you need to consider sending post during their commute, or lunch break because once they reach home, they won’t have time to check out their phones with their family commitment. If you target students, no point of sending post during their classes but check their break time, lunches… What do they do in their free time?
You have to consider all this to make sure your niche is online when you send your post.

The best time to post on Facebook
It is not very easy to find the right time because Facebook has changed the algorithm. You can see some more info HERE. According to statistics, the best time to post on Facebook is between 12 pm and 3 pm from Monday to Friday. And on Saturday and Sunday it is between 12pm and 1 pm.
The weekend sees lower engagement but there is a spike between 12pm and 1pm.
The best days are Thursdays and Fridays where you’ll see the most engagement on your post.
Of course it depends where is your niche and if you are in the same timezone. Keep in mind the time change and if you are like me having your audience in Europe and int the US, you have to post in different time.
Little trick if you want to reboost your post, you can like your picture or your post. It will bring your post up again for engagement.
The best time for Instagram
Instagram posts appear in feeds according to the number of likes or comments you get. You have a better chance of appearing near the top of your followers home streams if they follow you regularly. See below a great free training about how to build your business on Instagram.
To get more followers and a better audience, think about the time your target will be on Instagram. It is not like Facebook, it is only short videos or pictures. It doesn’t take much time to check out the news feed on Instagram. Try to send posts when they wake up, or when they commute, or when they reach home. You have to find out when is the best time for your niche.
Personally I find the Tuesday a great day for me, but i still post every day a picture. This is not my main platform but I still try to get followers so I’ll have the right number when I will decide to start.
The best time to post on Instagram is from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Monday to Friday according to statistics, some big brand find their downtime after 3 pm. Depending what you are marketing on Instagram, lunch break is a good time to send you posts.
The best time for twitter
Twitting is completely different, the average tweet life isn’t long and that is why if you are using only twitter for your business you need to automate your tweets and send something every 20 min if you can.
The best time for sending a post on twitter is 3pm from Monday till Friday.
