5 Tricks to make you feel more confident

With the year 2016 coming to an end, we all do a lot of project for 2017 and start stating all the new year resolutions we are going to do. I am going to give 5 tricks to become more confident.

But most of the time we hardly go after the 15th of January where we start going back to our old habits. If you want to build online, you need to share the information and to do so, you need to use multimedia and if your platform is Facebook or Instagram, you need to start doing Live Videos.

But of course not everybody is born with a charm magnet, or confident or extraverted and it is very hard for these persons to get out on social media and face their audience.

“Low self-confidence isn’t a life sentence. Self-confidence can be learned, practiced, and mastered–just like any other skill. Once you master it, everything in your life will change for the better.” –Barrie Davenport

Few tips that might help you to overcome this insecurity:

1- You need to stay away from negativity and believe in yourselves. If you don’t think you are good enough, then you are not going to show any credibility in front of your audience. If you think about yourself negatively – maybe you didn’t finish college, or you stopped working many years to take care of your children – It doesn’t matter, you are who you are because of all your experiences !! Stop putting in your mind you are not worth it!! If you show results, you will be showing very much credibility!! Talk to people, help them, do what you say you will do, be trustworthy!!

2- No matter how you feel inside, you need to look amazingly great and sharp on the outside. If you are invited to a conference, an event, put your best clothes, choose the right color but most importantly feel comfortable. Keep your posture, don’t fidget, and be calm. 3- Be grateful! Ok you might not have the best car, but you still can go from A to B with yours .. maybe you don’t have a huge house but you still have a roof over your head! Don’t look at other people lives because on the outside it might be looking very interesting and desirable but you don’t know what is happening inside! And even if you get some setbacks, think that it is forming you to make your stronger and better.

“We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude.” ~Cynthia Ozick

4- Talk loud but don’t shout. Just get to speak to everyone when you are in your community or an event. If you keep your habit of shyness and speaking low, people won’t hear you and when you’ll be asked to repeat you might think that it is because you are not interested!! Once you will start a conversation, you’ll realize the people are very friendly and you’ll remember that reaching out to someone new won’t seem so scary.

5- Educate yourself. The more you know about your business, or your situation the more comfortable you’ll feel talking about it. So do some research and learn very well your subject, this way you’ll be well prepared and won’t be terrified of speaking in public. Don’t be afraid to be judged, you surely know more about your subject than most people around you. Also practice and be persistent. The more your practice the better you’ll become.
